Gregg Simpson, who is a Legend in Surrealism and one of the founding members of The West Coast Surrealist Group will be helping me organize an online internet event for an INTERNATIONAL SURREALIST SHOW here on SURREALISM NOW! This project is still in the works and I will be working with Gregg in putting together this online Surrealism show. It will feature many surrealists and artists and it will be exhibited here on this website! The primary reason why Gregg and I decided on this is to provide another positive alternative to the mechanisms of the art world. We can reach a more wider audience through the Internet than in one seperate bourgeoise art gallery that will only milk the artists and the public anyway, besides having to endure the unnecessary bullshit of any in-town (or in-house) "art jury". This will be a perfect opportunity for helping Surrealism reach a much wider audience.

In the next couple of weeks, I am going to be setting up the Gallery Space here on SURREALISM NOW! for the upcoming online event, INTERNATIONAL SURREALIST SHOW. There is going to be approximately ten to twenty numbered gallery pages set aside for the INTERNATIONAL SURREALIST SHOW here on SURREALISM NOW! When these Gallery pages appear, they will be labeled INT.SURREALIST SHOW or SURREALIST SHOW 06, depending on the menu button's accepting the full text. These pages are being set aside for the INTERNATIONAL SURREALIST SHOW and they will not have any material on them until the show goes live in August. You will see a NOTICE telling you that the pages will be ready for viewing as soon as the show is ready. I have to pre-build and format these pages now, because of the many surrealist artists that are going to be in this online event. Once the show goes live, it will appear on those gallery pages that were originally set aside during preparation. This makes it easier for me to quickly and efficiently organize and prepare the material to present to you the best in SURREALISM today! Once the show goes live, it will stay on this website until the end of the year.
Also, there is a long waiting list of artists wanting to come on to SURREALISM NOW! Everyone of them WILL be exhibited on the site. This is a brand new website and its growing rapidly every day. You will see various artist's names appear in the Top Menu for a few days, then they will get a thumbnail for placement on the Alphabetized Gallery Pages, where their gallery will be on permanent display.

The preparations for the upcoming show are going along real smooth. I am already ahead of schedule with the prepartions and layouts of the pre-built webpages for the galleries.There is only 10 more pages to be built and that is going to be easy. Things are ahead of schedule and ORGANIZED! The way they should be! More details coming soon.

All 20 Gallery Pages have now been set aside for the upcoming INTERNATIONAL SURREALIST SHOW Online Event coming to SURREALISM NOW! in the second week of August! There are already 25 artists that will be on exhibit for the show, and more are coming!

Things are going real well on SURREALISM NOW! The website is now pulling in over 3000 HITS A DAY!!! That is MAJOR!!! Also, there are some real heavyweight artists and legends coming aboard to exhibit on SURREALISM NOW! From TERRANCE LINDALL to PROF. PHILIP RUBINOV JACOBSON to TIM SLOWINSKI, the site is becoming THE place to exhibit online.
Plans for the INTERNATIONAL SURREALIST SHOW 2006 online at SURREALISM NOW! are going real well. The show will be going LIVE IN AUGUST, probably the first or second week. You will see 20 New Gallery Pages go LIVE once the show is ready!

THE INTERNATIONAL SURREALIST SHOW 2006 on SURREALISM NOW! has been LIVE since the beginning of AUGUST! Since the debut of the online show, SURREALISM NOW! is pulling in an average of 3000 HITS A DAY!
Also, a great friend PETER LEWIS is in the NEWS, go to the Navigation Menu to read his article and go to WARPART while you are there, Peter is a MASTER!!!
In the following months, SURREALISM NOW! plans to exhibit artists that are not affiliated with Surrealism and the Surrealist Movement, but are friends and comrades in art. This website is already gaining a reputation as the best art website on the Internet, not only as the Official Website of Surrealism, but for all its affinities as well.
