ART STATEMENT, PORTFOLIO and RESUME of SEAN MADDEN:
"I have been doing and selling my art for many years now. I have been painting and drawing since the age of four. I started out as a surrealist artist as a child and as a teenager. Surrealism was my first love as an artist-- especially after seeing Ernst Fuchs' work. I have provided cover and interior illustrations for many horror publishers. I also sell a great deal of musical art (jazz/psychedelic).
I have a masters degree in counselor education. I specialize in very detailed pen and ink drawings and oil paintings. I also do a lot of pen and wash, and work in graphite and colored pencils. My work has been published in the U.S., the U.K., Canada, Finland, Australia and the Netherlands. I've done work for many publishers including: Delirium Books, HeadPress, and Hippocampus Press. I currently sell and exhibit my work through the Elizabeth Collection Gallery of Rochester, New York.
I've published and exhibited in so many places that a list would be senseless, so below is a brief list of publishers who have used my work:

*My work was also used as set dressing in the film, "My First Mister," which premiered in theaters in November of 2001. This film starred Albert Brooks and LeeLee Sobieski."
