         SURREALISM IN MUSIC

SURREALISM and MUSIC has always been striving for the Revolution of the Mind, Revolution of Desire and Ecstasy and Total Revolution. Since the advent of Jazz during the 1920's and the Blues onward, Surrealism has been part of the musical landscape of sound. The need to dream, to hallucinate, to revolt, has always been the strength of the Marvelous. You can find Surrealism in Music of all genres, however its not that easy to identify. Once you SEE IT, then you will understand. Psychedelia and Surrealism both have shared a very strong bond, as well as Punk Rock.
Some of the most powerful strands of Surrealism will be found in the Blues, and especially the Classic Rock and Roll of the late 1960's and early 1970's. Again, you have to SEE the power of the Marvelous in the MUSIC! More Rare Videos and Bands will be added to this page.............
